I love watercolor painting due to their beauty, their transparency, and their challenges. Watercolor is a spontaneous moving of water and pigment, it is very impressive. Water and pigment work together in harmony, to express my feeling. Therefore I call my style of paintings, with a name of expression style. I paint them without sketch, just go to flow pigment on water. I feel a miracle during my painting.

I learned painting in oil for the first time in Aceh, and since since 2005 continued learning to paint in watercolor in Jakarta.

To ensure long life span of my watercolor painting, I always used a good quality of paper and best watercolor media, . Usually I use aquarelle paper with weight of 300 g per sq meter and size of 76 cm x 56 cm.
